the beginning

in the beginning there was stuff

and

there was nonsense

there was love
there was light
there was wine and food and cookbooks

and of course

a wealth of random information and things generally not too much of interest to others

but of interest to me

instead of bombarding friends with the usual random emails - perhaps this might be a better repository of such information.
